Eligibility

Minimum Requirement:

+2 in Science/ Intermediate in Science/ Intermediate in Engineering from recognised board or university with minimum 45%.

Scholarship

KIC, since its establishment, has attempted to make higher education accessible for minorities, underprivileged, poor students from every corner of the country. The scholarship is provided in various categories in each program. But, to get scholarship the students must submit the original/ authentic document of certification.

The college also has got motivational scholarship packages for the students having outstanding result in HSEB examination and the Entrance Test topper.

KIC also provides scholarship for its meritorious students in all programs. This Merit scholarship creates a healthy competitive environment among the students of every semester to secure 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in every Semester End Examination (Board).

Internship and Industrial Training

Internship and Industrial Training are mandatory for BHM, BHCM, BBA, BID, MBA and MHM students for the partial fulfillment of their academic course. KIC supports and manages the internship and Industrial Training for its students. For the students of Hotel and Hospitality Management, college manages the paid internship in five stars hotels in Nepal, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, UAE, USA and other European countries. It also assists BBA and BID students by managing the reputed corporate houses, banks, companies and consultancies.

During their studies, College manages frequent field trips for its students of all programs inside or outside the valley to ensure them the practical aspects of what they are learning.

KIC has been supporting its students for the job placement in Nepal and abroad.

Assessment and Grading System

The performance of individual graduate is evaluated as per Purbanchal University’s assessment and grading system. The assessment & grading system has been divided into two broad categories i.e. Internal Assessment and Semester -end Assessments (Board Exam) taken by Purbanchal University. The weightage of Internal Assessment and Semester –end Assessments are 40:60 in master and 20:80 in bachelor respectively. The Internal Assessment evaluation is done under direct supervision, monitoring and control of concerned faculty of the subject & college management. Basically, Internal Assessment is composed of article review, case study, seminars presentation, field work, quizzes, attendance and other ongoing evaluations .

Credit Transfer

The courses offered here at KIC are of international standard as well as internationally recognized. After completing 25% credit hours at our college, students can easily apply for further study abroad. Credit transfer is accepted in European, Australian, Singaporean and US colleges and universities. College councilor will assist the students for Credit Transfer arrangement and information on further study abroad if required.
