Kantipur International College proudly organized a lively Yomari Competition on 5th Poush 2081, exclusively for the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Bachelor of Hotel and Catering Management (BHCM) students. This event celebrated Nepal’s rich culinary heritage by shining a spotlight on Yomari, a beloved traditional delicacy, while fostering creativity, teamwork, and culinary expertise among budding hospitality professionals.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation as students showcased their culinary artistry by crafting Yomaris with innovative fillings, shapes, and presentations. A distinguished panel of judges assessed the participants on creativity, flavor, presentation, and adherence to traditional preparation techniques.
The event culminated in the announcement of the winners, whose inventive yet authentic take on Yomari earned them well-deserved recognition. The winning team comprised Bibek Bala, Krischal Shrestha, Arpan Balami, and Icena Gyamaru, whose exceptional efforts secured both accolades and prizes.
